"The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart begs "Crossfire" hosts Paul Begala and Tucker Carlson to "stop hurting America" at the taping of the former CNN show in October.
Posted Thursday, June 16 4:08 P.M. Jon Stewart, the host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," will headline Colonials Weekend in October. Senior Vice President for Student and Academic Support Services Robert Chernak made the announcement during the kickoff to Colonial Inauguration Thursday afternoon.
Along with the Comedy Central star, Chernak announced that the Boston Pops will perform at the event, which is a weekend celebration for both alumni and parents of current students. It will take place Oct. 21-23.
Stewart was most recently on campus for a taping of "Crossfire" in October. During the broadcast the comedian and self-proclaimed fake newsman derided the former CNN talk show for "hurting America."
